This property is located on the grounds of a larger master villa, in the midst of a hilly olive grove, on the way from Itri to Sperlonga, back to that large costal area half way Rome to Naples called "the Ulixes coast", well known for its wild and white sandy beaches and rocky shore, for its unpolluted sea water.
Sperlonga has received the "blue flag of Europe", a distinction for excellent beach conditions and quality of the sea in this region. There is no massive tourist trade here. Sperlonga is one of the most distinguished bathing places of Italy and very rich with sightseeing and pretty nature. By the sea is the roman villa of the emperor Tiberius with an archaeological museum. The close surroundings offer walks, cycling, sail, surfing, tennis. Sperlonga is also worthwhile visiting outside the summer season.
In the distance, during the clear windy days, the eyes space on the horizon on the sea, to the islands of Ischia, Ponza and Ventotene.
Even so close to the sea the villas have access from a road that runs on the back of the hills, 3,5km from the town of Itri on one side and 12km from Gaeta and Sperlonga and its beaches.
The two indipendent double bedrooms of the "Casa di Pietra", each with private bathroom, breakfast facilities and patio, are offered for rental for one or more nights.
