Bucciano, an ancient village located close to the town of San Miniato, is a haven for lovers of art and natural beauty. Here, the landscape takes center stage as the medieval architecture of the village blends seamlessly with the rolling hills that characterize this part of Tuscany.
The early seventeenth century saw the construction of a villa and stable complex with adjoining farmland in the medieval village of Bucciano, which at the time was considered a part of the countryside around San Miniato. Today, having been expanded and refurbished on several occasions, the villa and surrounding buildings form the Casa Vacanze Bucciano or 'Bucciano Holiday Home Complex'. The typically Italian garden extends around the villa and features a small neo-gothic chapel and a park overflowing with botanical riches. Inside the parkland there is also a wonderful swimming pool with hydromassage.
