Locanda La Meridiana

The inn La Meridiana is right in the heart of the city. It is an exemple of old Ragusa houses, quaint old customs are the “izzane”, or niches dug throuh the walls. The building has been erected after the hearthquake of 1693 and on the grottos that popular rumours deemed inhabited by the hermit Saint Albert. It is located in a strategic position for our guets because of its location he can choose between an enchanting pedestrian way among an infinite maze of narrow old streets and a long serie of stairs that take him to Ragusa Ibla, the ancient city, today Unesco Patrimony, or the monumental walk that takes him through the main streets of the historic heart of Ragusa. All the rooms with private bathroom and shower are equipped with heating and conditioned air, colour TV and satellitar decoder, refrigerator. The house consists of a living room, a kitchen complete with table-war, fridge and freezer. Every morning continental breakfast is served and by request we will be helped to a brunch to taste some typical ragusan dishes.
