This strategic position allows you to reach by walking (about 300 meters) the Archaeological Area (the Greek Theatre, the Orecchio di Dioniso, the Roman Amphitheatre, the Ierones Ara, the Grotta dei Cordari and the Latomie del Paradiso) and in its surroundings (about 200 meters) you will find the Santuario della Madonna delle Lacrime, the “Paolo Orsi” Archaeological Museum, the Catacombe di San Giovanni and the Papiro area.
You can reach the Ortigia Island by walking or by bus (about 600 mt).
Just 50 meters away from the B&B Gelone there are two bus stops (or taxi station) which allow you to reach in a short time the beautiful Ortigia Island.The B&B is very comfortable and elegant. It’s the place where during the holiday you will feel like home. You will experience the comfort and the warmth typical of the best sicilian welcome. Questa arteria stradale cittadina riveste una posizione strategica: potrete raggiungere anche a piedi (circa 500 mt.) il parco archeologico (Teatro Greco, Orecchio di Dionisio, Anfiteatro romano, Ara di Ierone, Grotta dei cordari, e Latomie del Paradiso) e sempre nei dintorni (400 mt. circa) troverete il Santuario della Madonna delle Lacrime, il Museo archeologico "Paolo Orsi", le Catacombe di San Giovanni e il Centro del Papiro.
L'Isola di Ortigia è raggiungibile a piedi o in bus (1 Km circa).
Per chi volesse utilizzare i mezzi pubblici, a 50 metri dal B&B Gelone, due fermate autobus (o staz. taxi) consentono di arrivare in brevissimo tempo sulla bellissima Isola di Ortigia.
