Belvedere B&B

Nestled under the wall of the great fortress at Fenestrelle and situated in the heart of a 16th century alpine village(1000m altitude) is the Belvedere Bed and Breakfast. The tastfully restored 16th century "Casa" offers three guest bedrooms with private bathroom facilities, views of the fortress and two of them have balconies overlooking the church. The rooms can be arranged either as twin or doubles to suit. The house is named after the one of the redoubts on the great fortress which can be seen from the house. The village is protected from avalanche by the great "Selva di Chambons" an ancient protected larch forest which climbs the sides of the surrounding mountains. Once French but now Italian the village is well placed for alpine activities in both countries.
