Piccola Baita

Agritourism resort "Piccola Baita" ('the little refuge') is located in a wonderful peaceful area of the Belluno Dolomites, by Sappade di Falcade (Belluno), 1345 m. above sea level, between mounts Civetta (renowned for its ski area), Mulaz, Focobon and the Auta Heights.
The agritourism resort, owned by the Pescosta family, that has always operated in farm holidays and agriculture, passionately contributes to the mountain life with a warm hospitality for anybody seeking peace and direct contacts with local wildlife. In a unique natural context, the resort provides Bed and Breakfast, Half Board and Full Board services; our typical food is inspired by our environment with a touch of "peculiar" food matches and recipe creativity.Products manufactured by our farm, such as cheese, salami, sausages and meat (in our stock farm we raise cattle, pigs, rabbits, ducks, geese) are the core of our menus and dishes. They will pleasantly surprise you and let you discover genuine traditional flavors.
 Even those who simply transit can find typical local products in our shop – "speck", salami, "coppa", "bresaola", fresh and seasoned cheese, smoked cottage cheese will enrich your table.
 Our cellar provides an excellent selection of wines from every Italian region, plus some foreign wines.Both the dining rooms of our resort can be booked throughout the whole year for special happenings such as Christmas, New Year's Day, Easter or any o Our bedrooms, located on the top floor of a typical "tabià", are mostly built in wood with sections of the original structure at sight.Each one of the five rooms is provided with bathroom, tv and autonomous heating, with a wonderful view on the village and the Belluno Dolomites landscape.

 Several pathways connect Sappade to mountain "malgas" and refuges. The village is just 5 minutes driving from the ski lift facilities of the "Tre Valli Ski Area". 100 kilometers of snowy ski tracks, guaranteed by a programmed snow production system, plus 60 kilometers of Nordic ski tracks. Visitors can therefore practice any kind of winter sport – fun for adults and children alike ! More, breath-taking landscapes among the most fashionable in the world, right in the middle of the Veneto Dolomites: the mountain peaks of Pale di San Martino, San Pellegrino pass, the Monzoni, the three Focobon peaks, the Mulaz and the Marmolada, mounts Pelmo and Civetta are the skiers' companions along a track of charming up and downs.
