The agritourism lodge “Sa Tella”is located on top of a hill, at 200m above sea level, in a bowl surrounded by rich cork oaks, live oaks and pine trees. It was once used as a summer camp, and has been totally refurbished since There are 7 airconditioned, en-suite bedrooms that in total sleep 21. There are 2 large Dining rooms with a capacity of 80 covers that can be used to host any kind of celebration: from birthdays to First Communion or simply a meal between friends... Our guests are welcome to use the facilities available in the premises: a tv lounge, a laundry room, a large car park and a peacefull garden where you can relax sipping a nice glass of Mirto... Our cuisine is inspired by the taste of the regional traditions: Satizzu ( pork or wild boar sausages), Pancetta( bacon), Mustela, Ravioli, Malloreddus, rosted piglets, lamb, pickled wild mushrooms and artichokes, natural fruit jams, Seadas, Pabassini, and Mirto. This and much more all comes strictly from our first choice production of genuine ingredients. We also have a variety of local vegetarian dishes. One of our main selling products is the honey: we produce 10 different kinds. The most popular are: wild thistle, rosemary, eucalyptus, mirto and the prestigious Corbezzolo( Arbutus, or strawberry tree). The streets of Guspini, can be easily reached with a short walk: the shops, the markets and the bars are about 500m from the lodge. At only 7km the impressive mines of Montevecchio have been open to the public to visit for several years now. You can also have a stroll in the beautiful pine forest and, if you’re lucky, have the chance to see some deer. About 35km away, you can visit the spectacular sand dunes of Piscinas and Torre Dei Corsari, formed by the sand transported by the strong winds coming from the Sahara Desert in North Africa. “SaTella”, is the ideal place to shop, unwind, explore...Plenty to see and do!!
