Staying for some days in the farm means living in a wonderful quiet nature. Here, our guests can do different sports, such as the trekking and the mountain - bike. It is a typical rural building made of two structures whose rooms are all supplied with bathroom, heating, TV, kitchen and also... Garden with deck-chairs, tables, chairs and car park.The farm is about 20 hectares. It is a family business. We produce cereals, vineyards, olive groves and breed ovines and horses. Our guests can take part in the farm activities, i.e. During the harvest time. They can also take part in the production of the sheep's cheese. The farm L'ANTICA SOSTA is situated on a hilly area in the Tuscan Maremma.In the early years of the 20th century, the wayfarers used to stop here to get their breath back. These hills are green in spring and golden yellow in summer.There are lots of olive groves, vineyards, oaks and manna ash's woods.Inside the mountains our ovines and bovines pasture all over here. You can find many Etruscan necropolis in this colourful place."STATONIA" is one of the most important; it is 5 Km far away from the farm.Eighteen kilometers far away from the farm, you can find other necropolis in Pitigliano, Sorano, Sovana, Vulci and Tarquinia.The farm is about 10 minutes car from the TERME DI SATURNIA (a very important spa) and 40 Km from the Bolsena Lake, which is a wonderful volcanic lake. All around the lake there are lots of countries that are historically very important. Today our enterprise has created an environment where guests will feel at home in the real sense of the word. We have set up an inviting restaurant activity where visitors can try typical local products from our wine cellar and the territory. Our guests can also follow cooking courses and take part in other traditional artisan activities. It is 120 Km far away from Manciano, 40 Km from the sea, 50 Km from the skiing resort, 20 Km from the riding ground, 150 Km from the Fiumicino Airport. A Hundred fifty animals can be admitted, but only after making arrangements with us.
