Located in the ideal outpost of the ancient Vestini's territory, Pollinaria farm sits in the heart of a faunal and forest reserve, a precious treasure chest of local biodiversity.
All cultivations are led according to the principles of organic farming so as to produce Dop Aprutino Pescarese extra virgin olive oil, Montepulciano and Trebbiano d'Abruzzo wines, and a selection of cereals.
In concert with the farming activities, Pollinaria runs a program of residencies for artists and scientists closely connected to the scene of international avant-garde art.
Guests are received in the austere environments of a late 18th-century rural settlement, restored in accordance with traditional architectural canons and with indigenous, natural materials.
Many are the activities related to the exploration of nature: walks, bicycle and horse riding, and birdwatching; it is also possible to participate in the farming operations.
Nearby, guests can practice hang gliding and paragliding to observe from above the wonders of the Vestini's valley, and discover the extraordinary landscapes of the Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga National Park, located along the 320 km of Italy's longest equestrian trail.
