The Farmhouse “La Luna sul Tevere” sited in the typical Roman country inside the natural park “Tevere Farfa” is near “Torrita Tiberina” a characteristic medieval borgo overlooking the Tiber loops at just 45 Kilometres from Rome. The farmhouse is the result of the restoration of the old “casale” conserving the typical rural architectural Lazio structure of XX° century. Four apartments have been restored in the “casale” each one of them has a double room, a little kitchen, a drawing room, a bathroom with a shower, air conditioning, TV, and a double room suitable for the handicap. The apartments are furnished with great care and with elegant hand painted Chinese furniture. At the ground floor, in the ancient cow house there are a comfortable, great drawing room and a kitchen. Here you can taste typical local ancient dishes prepared with the genuine and fresh products cultivated in the farm. In the garden a swimming pool /13x6) and barbecue. The farmhouse can be easily reached both from Rome and from “Leonardo da Vinci Airport” either by a metropolitan train from Rome Tiburtina station to “Poggio Mirteto” station (every 30 minutes) or by car on the motor-way A1 exit: “Ponzano Romano - Soratte”. Animals are allowed and paddocks are available for horses. Moreover, in the park, it is possible to arrange guided tours, bird-watching, fishing, canoe and boat excursions, trekking, mountain bikes and horseback riding. The cultural sites to be visited are: Rome, Abbazia di Farfa, Abbazia di sant’Andrea in Flumine, Santuario francecano di Greccio Tuscania, Tarquinia, Rieti, Viterbo, Orvieto.
