Argiano is a beautiful 13th century stone hamlet located on a hill top of a privately owned estate of more than 260 acres, consisting of vineyards, olive groves and woodland. Just 15 minutes from Siena in the Chianti hills. Argiano has been lovingly restored by its proud owners and is a development of enormous peace and charm with a beautiful pool, manicured lawns with lavender, oleanders and roses. The courtyards are filled with lemon trees and flower filled pots and there is privacy for every guest. Just 1 km is "Pianella", which has all facilities for every day needs as well as a much visited local trattoria. Argiano is a truly wonderful base to visit San Gimignano, Montalcino, Assisi and Florence, which are all within striking distance. There are eight apartments only for 2 persons and two for 4 persons. We have 2 mini apartments for 2 persons for stays shorter than one week. Some apartments have large terraces on the garden with direct pool access whilst others have terraces in olive gardens. The views from Argiano's apartments are truly wonderful of the surrounding countryside.

Fattoria Argiano in Chianti

Nei pressi di Argiano ci sono un sacco di cose meravigliose da fare, durante le pigri e assolate giornate estive. Con la stupenda storia della Toscana, ci sono molti musei da visitare , botteghe d’arte da vedere, monasteri che vi stupiranno e la città di Siena a soli 15 minuti di auto, con la sua meravigliosa Piazza del Campo famosa per il Palio, la celebre corsa di cavalli che si svolge due volte l’anno a luglio e agosto. Nei dintorni ci sono maneggi, golf, si può andare in bicicletta, e ancora degustazioni di vino in vecchie proprietà vinicole, si possono seguire lezioni di cucina e visitare un famoso parco di sculture (a 3 km da Argiano) con straordinarie opere d’arte. Tutte queste attività possono essere organizzate in ufficio. Firenze con i suoi Uffizi, i luoghi dei Medici, la cattedrale e quant’altro; Cortona con la sua storia etrusca; Arezzo con l’oro e le opere d’arte di Piero Della Francesca; Montepulciano per il suo vino; Perugia, bella città universitaria, conosciuta per il suo cioccolato; San Gimignano con le sue torri e Pienza, situata in cima alla collina e orgogliosamente famosa per i suoi formaggi. Queste cittadine sono facilmente raggiungibili con l’auto. Anche Roma può essere raggiunta in circa due ore. Potete ammirare le famose Crete Senesi con le sue particolari forme o semplicemente rilassarvi leggendo un libro in piscina. Ci sono molte trattorie, pizzerie e ristoranti per godere al meglio dei piaceri della Cucina Toscana. From Argiano there are a number of wonderful things to do during the lazy, sunny summers. With the wonderful history of Tuscany there are museums to visit, artworks to see, monastery’s to astound you. Ravishing Siena is only a 15 minute drive away. There is horse riding, golf, and wine tastings in old wine estates, cooking lessons to be had, and a famous sculpture park ( within 3 klms from Argiano) to visit with extraordinary pieces of art. Florence, Cortona, Arezzo, Montepulciano, Peruga, San Gimignano and Pienza are easily reached by car, each with it’s own wonderful churches, museums and buildings. Rome can also be reached in two hours. You can see the famous Crete Senese with it’s luna landscape, or just relax with a book at the swimming pool. There are many trattoria, restaurants and pizza eateries for you to enjoy the delights of Tuscan cuisine. Florenz mit den Uffizien, den Palästen der Medici, dem Dom und vielem mehr, Cortona mit seiner etruskischen Vergangenheit, Arezzo mit seinen Kunstwerken von Piero della Francesa und der Goldschmiedeindustrie, Montepulciano bekannt für seine Weine, Perugia für seine Schokolade und seine Universität, San Gimignano mit seinen Türmen und Pienza, das sich stolz auf seinem Hügel präsentiert und berühmt für seine Schafskäseproduktion ist. Alle diese Attraktionen können leicht mit dem Auto erreicht werden. Rom ist in zwei Stunden Autofahrt zu erreichen. Es gibt fast zu viel zu sehen und zu unternehmen. Sie können die berühmte Mondlandschaft der „Crete Senese“ bewundern oder einfach nur mit einem Buch am Swimmingpool entspannen.
