RATE: 15,00 € per person/night, self-made breakfast included.The Hindi word "shanti" means: peaceful, homely, easygoing... a word which expresses a lifestyle and our philosophy too.Our house is very typical: made of stone, with wooden interior, surrounded by chestnut trees and meadows. It's quite simple but we are sure you'll love it!The house is located in a characteristic rural village, at the threshold of the Aveto Nature Park whose many footpaths (including the long-distance path "Alta Via dei Monti Liguri": www.altaviadeimontiliguri.it) offer the hikers (as well as horse-riders and mountain-bikers!) the most beautiful landscapes of the eastern Ligurian mountains. Only 500m from here, climbing-lovers can find rock-walls fitted out with 18 climbing paths (level 5 to 6a). The Shanti House grew from the idea of giving birth to a "fair tourism", giving everybody the chance of visiting our beautiful region and giving us the opportunity to meet a lot of new people... and also we wanted to re-create at home that atmosphere of exchange among travellers which you can breathe in an Indian guesthouse. This is therefore, the ideal place to fully enjoy (in a shanti way!) the two sides of our region: the charming seaside towns (Cinque Terre, Genova and Portofino are at an easy reach) and the unspoilt mountains (with their people who still follow an ancient rhythm of life. In summer, you can either choose to sunbathe on a seaside beach, or on the wilder shores of Giacopiane Lakes (1000m above sea level), where you can also swim, fish and... why not? have a barbecue, cooking on the typical "ciappe" (slate slabs). We have double and single rooms with shared bathroom, living room, kitchen facilities and garden. OUR B&B IS AVAILABLE TO GROUPS.
