Podere San Vitale

Built in the end of the 19th century as a Farm house and now restored, Podere San Vitale is located in Busseto 25 Km far away from Parma, in the middle of Parma’s Land. The B&B is 5 km far away from Busseto Train Station, also not so far away from the Airport of Parma (25 minutes). Podere San Vitale is just a short walk from the Giuseppe Verdi’s birth-house and the house where the famous Italian writer Giovannino Guareschi used to live. The B&B has 3 double bedrooms with 2 guests bathrooms. The bedrooms reflect its distinctive past while adding elegant sophistication to its guests lodging. From the bedroom you can see the Apennines Mountains and sometimes the Lombard Alps. In our elegant dining room it’s served breakfast every morning with natural products. After breakfast, you can visit the highlights of the Verdian Lands as fine restaurants, shops, antiquity and natural hot-baths. In the evening you can relax yourself in our lovely parlour enjoying a glass of wine, listening to classical music or converse with other guests. All around the house, there is a flowery garden and a big enclosured parking for cars, caravan and campers. IT’S EASY TO REACH US: in the centre of “Verdi’s Lands” we are located in a strategic position near Parma, Cremona, Piacenza and MILAN (50’) and a good starting point to visit the Verdian Places like Busseto, Sant’Agata and Roncole Verdi where the Maestro was born and where he learned and played the pipe-organ in the Saint Michele Church. Other more interesting sites: The Rocca of Meli Lupi in Soragna, the Rocca of San Vitale(Fontanellato), the Castle of Colorno and more and more castles all around, and Salsomaggiore Terme, Tabiano etc. ...
