The family-run "La Dolce Vita" welcomes visitors to its agritourism retreat on the island of Lipari. A scenic drive 5kms from the port town of Lipari (including the last 500 meters of mule track) leads to the retreat, located on the shoulder of Monte Giardina, above the cliffs of Vallemuria, the closest beach. La Dolce Vita enjoys genuinely splendid views of the Sicilian coast and Mt. Etna, and the islands of Alicudi, Filicudi, as well as Salina and Vulcano. An ideal place for a relaxing and regenerating stay. Four spacious and uniquely furnished suites (offering 12 beds in all) opening onto the main loggia provide all expected comforts. Agriturismo Monte Delle Cristule

 We are an English/Italian family in the process of setting up an agriturismo. Kestrels’ Heights is located on Monte Guardia, a hill on the island of Lipari, the largest of the Aeolian archipelago. From our position, perched on a cliff, you can admire a spectacular view which embraces the surrounding hills, the islands of Filicudi, Alicudi, the tops of Salina’s twin hills, the Sicilian coastline, Etna and the beautiful clear sea. If you love the countryside, peace and tranquillity, even while you are enjoying a busy holiday, we are your ideal destination. You can walk or mountain-bike along old footpaths, do some bird-watching (in particular kestrels cristule in Sicilian dialect) or go for a swim and dive into the clear, infinity coloured waters at the nearby Valle Muria beach (2km). It’s a haven for those who are looking for unspoilt, true nature, in its harshness and essentiality, for those who want to walk on naked soil, love wild flora and the rocks to which the volcano has given vivid colours of fire COME AND STAY :We offer self-catering accommodation in two houses with mezzanine floors and kitchen/kitchen area (one sleeps 2-6 the other 2-8).We are open all year around on request for a minimum of two nights stay but in the high season (07-08) when we require a minimum of one week .Linen and towels are changed mid-weekly. Free shuttle service from/to the harbour on arrival and departure.In order to enjoy a greater freedom of movement we advise you to hire a moped/car.As an alternative we offer you our shuttle service to Lipari centre (7Km) twice a day (in the morning and afternoon).The nearest bus stop is about 1Km away.We also supply basic baby/toddler equipment on request.We will be available to advise you, organise for you various services and guide and accompany you in the most interesting excursions.We’ll be happy to meet all your needs since we would like not only to have you as guests, but also as friends Smoking is only allowed outside. ...
