Our holiday farm Fattoria Ma’ Falda lies in an extraordinarily beautiful environment in the middle of Italy’s so-called green core. The agritourism is surrounded by protected nature with a particularly rich flora and fauna, as well as beautiful cultivated land. You will find us between Orvieto and Todi, in an area of great cultural interest, close to the borders of Lazio and Tuscany, not far from the cities of Perugia, Assisi and Spoleto.Fattoria Ma’ Falda is situated at an altitude of  550 metres, with a panoramic view of a beautifully undulating landscape, on the foothills of the extinct volcano Monte Peglia, overlooking the lake of Corbara. The farm is surrounded by two nature reserves of great interest in matters of flora, fauna and geology: The protected oasis of the Peglia mountain and the park around the river Tiber.The grounds of our farm surround an old manor house which was built in the 18th century. It was first used as a postal office and a place for changing horses. Its 12 hectars of land are now divided between grazing grounds, woods, olive groves and fruit orchards.The running of the farm is now based on agriculture and animal husbandry for our own production of cheese, virgin oil, meat and honey. We keep goats, sheep and pigs. We are in the process of acquiring a formal recognition as an eco-farm (ecological farm).We have three flats to let. These flats are parts of old farm buildings, restored and furnished with care and simplicity: “Caciaia” (40sqm. - 2beds), “Casale” (100sqm. – 6beds + 3*), “Casaletto” (135sqm. – 6beds + 5*).Cats, dogs and small pets are welcome.The hosts at Fattoria Ma’ Falda have four different mother tongues: Norwegian, Italian, German and French, as well as speaking English and Spanish. ...

Agriturismo L'elmo

The farmhouse "L'Elmo" is situated on the hills which softly and progressively lead up from the banks of Paglia river to the inland country towards the peak of mount Peglia. "L'Elmo" is in front of the tufaceous castle occupied by the city of Orvieto, to which the territory belongs. This area is characterized by the presence of typical small medieval villages and old farmhouses scattered in the land. The owners have recently restored the ancient stone country-houses with original building materials and the guests, at present, can enjoy their ancient beauty and their untouched harmony with the environs. Accomodation is offered in apartments and suites of different size and structure. Natura Naturans

The bed and Breakfast Natura Naturans is an old typical Umbrian farmhouse immersed in a green oasis surrounded by woods and olive trees.  It looks out on to the breath taking view of the valley below.  The farmhouse is only four kilometers from the center of the beautiful city of Orvieto and it is in easy reach of other well know cities like Todi, Citta della Pieve, Perugia, Siena, Montepulciano.  Florence and Rome are little more than an hour away.  The farm house was refurbished in 2007 and not only was the typical style of a country house maintained but also the criteria of bio –building were followed.  Limestone and pollution free paint was used. Nicla greets the guests in the same way as one greets friends who come to visit at home.  There is a very warm, cosy and familiar atmosphere.  There are two double bedrooms available for guests. They are both sunny and tastefully furnished.  There is a living/dining area with a big fireplace where breakfast is served.  Breakfast is based on biological products such as homemade cakes and jams and honey from our own bees.  Outside, there is an outdoor pool, a garden, a wood oven and a barbeque all available for our guests.  We will be delighted to offer you our homegrown fresh vegetables and fruit, all biologically produced.  Moreover we will be pleased to provide you with information about any exhibits or “sagre” (village feasts) going on in the nearby towns. ...
