loading ...San Pellegrino Terme is a comune in the province of Bergamo, Lombardy, Italy, best known for being the location where San Pellegrino, a carbonated mineral water drink is produced. The properties of these waters were recognized in the 18th century, and in the middle of the 19th century two spas were opened. At the beginning of the 20th century, the spas were completely renewed according to the Liberty style, giving the town its present elegant, high-class appearance. San Pellegrino waters are useful in treating uricemia, renal calulosis, intestinal and stomach diseases.
