Tempio Pausania is situated close to Mount Limbara in low Gallura, and It's famous for the spring waters of Rinaggiu which have low mineral content . Perhaps already known in Roman times, Tempio Spas were really exploited only in 1998 when a new spa complex was opened.

The water of the Baths of Tempio flows from granitic rocks typical of the area of the Temple, and it has small amounts of mineral salts, including sodium chloride and calcium bicarbonate.
